If you are enrolled in Jiminy Peak's health insurance plan, one of the benefits available to you is Evo, our telehealth service that provides convenient access to medical care from wherever you are. This benefit allows eligible employees and covered family members to connect with healthcare providers without making a trip to a doctor's office or urgent care center. Evo replaced our previous telehealth provider and offers multiple ways to receive care, including phone consultations, video visits, and other virtual care options. 

I recently had the opportunity to use Evo myself, and I was genuinely impressed by how simple the process was.

After creating my account care.evohealth.com and entering my Jiminy Peak's Benefit Code, I selected the type of illness I wanted treatment for and answered a few questions. I chose the phone call option, although video appointments are available as well. Less than 20 minutes later, a doctor called me directly. There was no waiting room, no drive to an appointment, and no time away from work sitting in a clinic lobby.

The entire experience was straightforward, convenient, and exactly what I needed.

Many of us tend to think of healthcare as something that requires scheduling appointments weeks in advance or spending hours at urgent care. Evo is different. For many common, everyday health concerns, you can connect with a licensed provider from your home, office, or wherever you happen to be. The platform offers several ways to receive care, allowing members to choose the option that works best for them. 

As we head into another busy fall and winter season, I encourage all employees who are covered under our health insurance plan to take a few minutes to set up their Evo account before they need it. It's much easier to complete the registration process now than when you're not feeling your best.
